Go Further Project

We went to Go Further with our Romanian Dog. We crossed paths and initially he even wanted to help us for free, because he cares a lot about dogs (but also about animals in general). He immediately recognized our dog's behavior and gave us the right help and tools to work and practice with our dog. Highly recommend!

Marutu has helped us train, get more knowledge about and get accustomed to our reactive stafford. We really didn't know what results to expect, especially after the first time when our staffy was reacting towards Marutu. The way Marutu handled this was very professional, patient and in control, where we weren't yet. This way he could guide us on how to reward good and how to correct not ideal behavior. Really taking us by hand not only explaining but also showing how to make properly contact and the crucial timing of both reward or corrections. And most of all: that 'getting mad' (trying to dominate) or 'getting scared' (trying to withdraw or only seek distance) don't result in anything helpful. Where we really didn't expect anyone being able to 'handle her', Marutu showed patience with her and solid leadership. She built up respect for him extremely quickly when guiding her. Where in the first session she couldn't stopped reacting towards him, the second session he was managing her and guiding her slowly through it while teaching and showing us how. We worked mostly on People and Dog reactivity as well as building trust in ourselves to be able to manage her. In both massive improvements were made in just a handful of sessions. Thanks for helping and guiding us Marutu! If you're searching a knowledgable, competent and realistic trainer who knows what he's doing, would definitely recommend Marutu.
